Using the Internet and emails to communicate our interior design plans, Interiors Design Group provides you, our client, with your dream home as simply, conveniently, and as affordable as possible. SIMPLE:

Interiors Design Group makes designing your home as simple as possible for you. To begin the design process, we will email you a questionnaire. We use this to assess your wants and needs for your space, which may include furniture (interior and exterior), art, lamps, bedding, window treatments, silk plants, accessories, and housewares.

We also use it to determine which furniture style you like, as well as which fabrics and colors to use. Because we realize that having too many choices can be a bit overwhelming, our designers have spent numerous hours researching the latest furniture pieces, fabrics, fixtures, etc., and are able to present you with appropriate selections based on your likes and dislikes, as well as what we determine would work well within your living space.

After gathering all of this information, we will create a custom interior design plan, based on your choices and our space plan, which is then presented to you for your approval. Whether you need to furnish one room or an entire residence, the process is the same.

CONVENIENT:

Interiors Design Group is able to purchase directly from many leading manufacturers, and has access to numerous resources that are only available to professional interior designers. We shop from all of these resources so you don’t have to spend your valuable time traveling from store to store. Once we have created a design plan for you, we will email it to you so that you can view it in the comfort of your own home.

As soon as the design has been approved, finalized, and the orders have been placed, the furnishings will be delivered to your residence. Interiors Design Group will be there to direct our delivery professionals, who will carefully unpack and set up the furnishings in your home, based on the space plan we have developed. This is all accomplished without you even having to be there. And, If you choose a complete turnkey design, we will even wash the dishes, put them away in the cupboards, make the beds, and have everything in place so all you need to do is turn the key.

Though it is a term that we have been hearing with more frequency lately, we thought there may be some of you out there who are still unfamiliar with it. Aloha! Interior Design from Honolulu, Hawaii

Aloha, which has a number of meanings, such as hello, goodbye, love, peace, and compassion, has become an integral part of my vocabulary after living in Honolulu, Hawaii for the past nine years. I moved here from Princeton, New Jersey in December 2000, and have lived in various cities across the United States, including Honolulu, Princeton, Sacramento, California, Huntington Beach, California and Denver, Colorado.

One of the things I noticed once moving to Hawaii, after taking in all the beauty of course, was the limited number of furniture stores and lack of selection among them, compared to what I was used to on the mainland. I found it difficult to furnish my own home. I figured other people must have the same problem, so I decided my mission would be to assist others with the process of furnishing their home by offering them a wide selection of quality furniture and accessories, along with the services of a professional interior designer. Thus, Interiors Design Group was born.

The Hawaii studio opened in July 2001, and has grown to serve all of the Hawaiian Islands, along with the continental United States, and has had clients from Japan, Canada, California, Maryland, Illinois, Boston, and Seattle.

In August 2009, we underwent a new endeavor – the opening of our Virginia design studio, located in Wintergreen, Virginia. We are looking forward to meeting more wonderful people, and being able to experience “Aloha” in Virginia and Hawaii.
